Dutch Warmbloods for dressage and combined driving, bred and trained with soft hands and steady minds.
Silverleaf Equestrian is run by Lavinia, breeding and training Dutch Warmbloods in two lines: one for dressage and one for combined driving.
Every horse here is brought along at its own pace. Horses that originated at Silverleaf carry the Silverleaf prefix, and our foundation horses are marked so you can see where each line began. The yard is also home to our Great Danes.
We breed Dutch Warmbloods along two lines: correct, expressive movers for dressage, and sturdy, steady partners for combined driving. Foals bred here carry the Silverleaf prefix.
No horses are standing at stud yet. Check back as our foundation horses mature.
Tidewater Training Center sits just above the harbor, where the salt air keeps the footing honest and the winters keep everyone humble. The program is built around the classical principles that Harborside riders are known for: correct basics, patient progression, and a clear reason behind every request.
Horses are brought along in dressage and combined driving with the understanding that the season is short and no training day should be wasted. Tidewater horses leave conditioned, thoughtful, and prepared, ready for whatever the circuit asks of them when they finally head south.
No recently completed programs to show.
Our Great Danes, gentle giants who keep the yard company and compete in agility.
